3.1 Information We Collect

• Email address — collected at signup/login, used to verify subscription status and send access links.
• Payment information — collected and processed directly by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Solyvane does not store your full card number or payment credentials.
• Session activity — which councils you access and how often, for service operation and reliability purposes.
• Conversation content — the questions or challenges you submit to councils, processed to generate a response. We do not sell or use this content for advertising purposes.

3.2 How We Use Information

• To provide and maintain the Service, including verifying subscription access;
• To process payments through Stripe;
• To send transactional emails (login links, receipts, service notices) via our email provider, Resend;
• To improve the Service and monitor for misuse.

3.3 Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with the following third-party service providers as necessary to operate the Service:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing;
• Resend — transactional email delivery;
• Anthropic PBC — AI model provider used to generate council responses; conversation content submitted to the Service is processed by Anthropic's API to generate responses;
• Render — hosting/infrastructure for our backend systems.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3.4 Data Retention

We retain your account, subscription, and session records for as long as your account remains active, and for up to twenty-four (24) months following cancellation for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, after which such records are deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.

3.5 Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

3.6 Cookies & Tracking

Solyvane uses a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in after verifying your email address. This cookie is required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while remaining logged in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

3.7 Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

3.8 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
