Terms of Service — Solyvane

2.1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Solyvane (the "Service"), operated by Solyvane LLC ("Solyvane," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2.2 Description of Service

Solyvane provides access to AI-generated conversational simulations styled as dialogues with historical figures, organized into thematic "councils." The Service is offered on a free tier (limited sessions) and a paid subscription tier (unlimited sessions) as described on the site.

2.3 Nature of Content — Not Advice

All content generated through the Service is produced by artificial intelligence and is provided for entertainment, educational, and inspirational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to financial, legal, medical, tax, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on content from the Service, and you agree to consult qualified professionals before acting on any such content.

2.4 Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis at the rate displayed at checkout, processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled.
You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew.
All subscription payments are non-refundable. No partial-month or prorated refunds are issued for cancellation, downgrade, or unused access. Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.

2.5 Account & Access

Access to paid content requires a valid email address used to verify subscription status. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access links sent to your email and for all activity that occurs through your account access.

2.6 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Generate content intended to deceive others into believing it represents actual statements by the historical figures depicted;
Attempt to circumvent session limits, subscription requirements, or access controls;
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
Attempt to extract, scrape, or reproduce the Service's underlying prompts, system design, or AI outputs for competing commercial purposes.

2.7 Intellectual Property

The Solyvane name, logo, website design, and original written content are the property of Solyvane LLC. Historical figures depicted are public domain individuals or figures whose likeness is used under fair use / educational purposes as described in our Legal & Disclaimers page; Solyvane claims no ownership over the identities, writings, or historical legacies of the individuals depicted.

2.8 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or reliable.

2.9 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solyvane LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

2.10 Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time.

2.11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

2.12 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
